This book is a collection of six essays adapted from an undergraduate honors conference held at Binghamton University, Spring 2008. Each essay addresses a contemporary issue in political philosophy. The essays originated as Honors Projects administered through the Program in Philosophy, Politics and Law (PPL) at Binghamton University. The major leads to an interdisciplinary B.A. degree in PPL offered through Harpur College of Arts and Sciences. PPL also offers an M.A. degree through its combined five year B.A./M.A. program.
